Perseverance - Determination - Sacrifice
I feel more confident with myself with the knowledge and understanding the gifts I possess are passed down to be through my ancestors.

What does leadership mean to you?

Leadership for me isn’t about leading just others. It’s about being the best leader for myself. So I can be the best version of myself possible to then empower others to do the same for them and so on.

I aspire to joint the Royal New Zealand Navy as an Officer.

I would have dinner with celebrity Billie Eilish as she is a young wahine who articulated her thoughts, understandings and feelings through singing and song-writing.

What is your favourite thing about being in Urutapu so far?

Favourite thing would be unlocking hidden potentials alongside my strong sisters.
Urutapu has taught me that “Vulnerability is the price of growth”.

Do you have any advice for other aspiring, young rangatahi?

Be willing and daring to strive for what you want to achieve. Nothing is too big or too small to tackle as long as you be the best you can be to succeed in wherever you aspire your journey to take you.
